April 18, 2021 – 107.1 The Boss, Newborn Essential Items Drive: Local 400 will be onsite at Bar A in Lake Como from 8am-11am with 107.1 the Boss collecting newborn essential items to benefit the Michael’s Feat Foundation and RWJBarnabas Hospitals.Advertisement
May 8, 2021 – Local 400 Fishing Trip: The Local 400 Entertainment Committee will be chartering the MiMi VI again this year.The boat leaves Point Pleasant at 6:30 am and returns 2:30 pm.Cost is $50.00 per member.Deadline to register and pay is April 12th.More information and to register can be found HERE.
May 8, 2021 – Local 400 Blood Drive: Local 400 will be hosting our annual blood drive.The event is by appointment only, you will need to create and account with Vitalant and sign up for an available time.Registrations can be done HERE
May 23, 2021 – 107.1 The Boss, Veteran’s Essential Items Drive: Local 400’s Veteran’s Committee will be onsite at Bar A in Lake Como from 8am-11am with 107.1 the Boss collecting essential items needed by local veterans.All items collected will be given to A Need We Feed organization for distribution.Local 400 will have a collection area set up at the Union Hall starting May 3rd from 6:45am until 5pm M-F for donations to be dropped off.These items will be brought to Bar A on May 23rd and added to those collected the day of List of needed items. June 1, 2021 - 2021 Local 400 Benevolent Fund Scholarship
Applications for the 2021 Benevolent Fund Scholarship are now available. The deadline for applications is June 1st, with winning recipients receiving their $1,000 scholarships at the Family Picnic, August 7, 2021. Applications are available HERE to be download, printed and returned to:

August 7, 2021 – Local 400 Family Picnic: This year’s family picnic will be hosted once again at the Oak Tree Lodge. Details of the day’s events and registration information to follow. Registration - CLOSED
August 25th & 26th – The House That Rock Built: Local 400 will be working with Habitat for Humanity and 95.9 the WRAT in the parking lot of the Monmouth Mall, fabricating walls for the next home built for Habitat for Humanity.
October 1, 2021 – Local 400 Thanksgiving Food Drive: Local 400 is running a Thanksgiving food drive in collaboration with Fulfill
of Monmouth & Ocean County. Local 400 will have a collection area
set up at the Union Hall starting October 1st from 6:45am until 5pm M-F
for donations of dry good only to be dropped off. A list of need items
can be found HERE. These
items will be brought to Fulfill on November 1st along with 200 turkeys
being donated on behalf of the Local 400 Benevolent Fund.
October 6, 2021 – Career Day at the Ocean County Mall: The Local 400 JATC will be at the Ocean County Mall promoting our apprenticeship program. This will be advertised on Thunder 106.3. Advertisement
November, TBD – Broadcast for the People: Local 400 will be onsite at the Saker Shoprite in Neptune along with 95.9 the WRAT helping to gather Thanksgiving meals for those in need.
November, TBD – Veteran’s Day Service: The Local 400 Military Committee will be hosting a Veteran’s Day Memorial Service at the Local 400 Union Hall. Additional information and to register to follow.
December, TBD – Breakfast with Santa: Local 400 will be hosting our annual Breakfast with Santa event. Information to follow.
